Eniris has integrated its SmartgridOne controller with Fusebox, a leading technology provider for energy flexibility markets. This integration allows both companies to deliver complementary services to shared customers: while Fusebox provides the optimization algorithms and market access, Eniris ensures reliable on-site control of energy assets. Fusebox operates across several European countries, including Germany, France, Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Sweden.
As the grid becomes increasingly decentralized and dynamic, flexibility is key to maintaining stability and efficiency. Fusebox provides access to various flexibility markets across Europe— such as Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR), automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR), and demand response programs —through their advanced optimization algorithms and market integration.
Through this collaboration, Eniris clients gain direct access to these markets, enabling them to monetize their controllable energy assets such as batteries.
At the core of this integration is the Eniris’ SmartgridOne controller, a versatile and intelligent local controller developed by Eniris. The SmartgridOne receives real-time setpoints from Fusebox and securely transmits them to connected assets on-site. This ensures accurate and reliable execution of energy flexibility commands, whether it’s peak shaving, frequency balancing, or load shifting.
Fusebox typically onboards assets with a minimum flexible capacity of around 100 kW, making the solution especially suited for industrial and commercial consumers or aggregations of smaller assets. Many participating installations range from 100 kW to several megawatts, depending on the asset type and market requirements. The SmartgridOne controller plays a key role in bundling and dispatching this flexibility in real time.
